Tara
High School English teacher
Tara holds an undergraduate degree in English and a bachelor’s degree in Education. She currently teaches Grade 8 to 12 English Language Arts at a public secondary school. She has an array of cross-cultural teaching experience, curriculum development, and leadership experience. Alongside teaching, she also has a vested passion for neuroscience; and is specifically interested in how the brain most effectively acquires knowledge.

Gordon

Gordon has a bachelor's degree in English Literature and a master's degree in Political Science in University of Waterloo. He has 7 years of experience in various roles in education. He has worked as a teacher with The Princeton Review and as a graduate teaching assistant at his university. He also has two years of experience teaching ESL in South Korea. He is TESOL certified. Gordon has experience with curriculum development, IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, and various high school subjects including science, history, geography, humanities, and economics.

Mia Li
Ph.D. in UBC Sauder School of Business
Mia is an excellent instructor with rich experience in English teaching (IELTS, TOEFL, CELPIP, GMAT, etc) and tutoring (math, business, English writing). She holds a Bachelor's degree in translation and interpreting as well as Finance, and a Master's degree in Human Resource Management. Mia also received 2-year Ph.D. training at UBC Sauder School of Business. In her class, Mia always takes students' needs as a priority, and tailors teaching schedules and methods based on students' features. With systematic and attractive teaching, Mia has students from various schools with notable increases in their academic performance.

Leon is a Ph.D. candidate in the faculty of education at Simon Fraser University. He has been teaching ESL and academic writing courses at the university level for over four years. He also has expertise in tutoring students in modern language learning (including English, Mandarin, and Spanish) in BC.

Iverson has participated in Waterloo’s Physics Contest and scored top 7% in Canada. He has a lot of experience with teaching grades 5 to 11 where he has helped students achieve higher grades in a short period of time.

Besides, she is a CELPIP Instructor and holds certificates from Cambridge University.

Kitty has completed her CELTA and TKT certification through Cambridge and is highly skilled at motivating students through positive encouragement and reinforcement.
